Iron Curtain - It was a barrier between communist Europe and Democratic Europe. It is not a real curtain there to separate both groups. People started to use the term commonly after Winston Churchill’s speech about the Iron Curtain.

Rosenberg Trial - The Rosenbergs were accused of being spies and giving the Soviet Union valuable information. They were convicted in 1951. They were executed in 1953. There is much evidence that the couple were truly spies for the Soviet Union.

Red Scare - The Red Scare took place in the Cold War time period. It was basically America and its civilians paranoid about being taken over by communists.The government was afraid that the Americans would become communist because of the Great Depression.
