Concentration Camps - During the Holocaust, Jews were held captive in concentration camps. The Nazis used these camp for slave labor. The conditions of the concentration camps were horrible. Everything was crammed into a tight space. People were killed if they spoke out to guards.

Death Camps - Death camps, or extermination camps, were used to physically get rid of Jews. Death Camps were far away from German civilization because if they saw what the Nazi’s were truly doing, they probably would not support Nazis any longer. In death camps, mass graves would be dug and Nazis would execute Jews.

Gas Chambers - Gas Chambers were used to kill a large number of Jews in a short period of time. Nazis would put a large amount of Jews in a room. They would then let poisonous gas enter the room. Few of the chambers would actually kill over 1,000 people.
